"AMES!" is the pseudonym of a German digital artist whose roots are suspected in street-, tattoo- or comic art. Over time, many different people from these art scenes were associated with AMES! – the artist’s true identity, however, is unknown.
The works are based on the style of old-school graffiti and new-school tattoo art. A clear language reduced to basic forms are characterizing the designs. Many graffities were seen in areas of Berlin.
In the beginning of 2021, the artworks first appeared as NFTs @rarible and @opensea. Since these platforms are the only way to purchase the works, he/she/it denies the conventional art market access to his works, but at the same time offers an entirely new target group of collectors exclusive access to his art.
Whether it is a rebellion against the dusty art market or whether it is a stroke of genius or just self-irony, AMES! has once again succeeded in reinventing himself/herself/itself and enriching his work to another level.

The collectible series „CANCHARAX“ is a homage to external
tools of the art.
All these tools have accompanied and influenced the artist
throughout time. With the series AMES! Is paying a special
tribute to all these “little helpers”.
The series consists of 5 different works – the holder of all 5
collectibles will receive an additional collage featuring all
tools.
“CANPEN” is combining the two most important tools of every graffiti artist. The pencil is used for sketches – the spray can for putting the features and color on walls.
CANPAN‘s Halo represents innocence but at the same time some color and livingness is added to laws and social norms. The wings show that the figure is free from dogmas, rules and principles. These limitations need to be questioned and need to be broken from time to time. The bandana expresses the simple wish for cohesion amongst artists by uniting them all.

„BRUSHMAKER“ is the most creative and most versatile tool of the collectible series. The butterflies symbolise beauty, creativity, freedom, and grace.
For her, opulence and pomp are not contradictions, they rather live in harmony with street art. The nerd glasses represent the teaching of art. Furthermore, the glasses are a sign for development, experience, growth, and the desire to improve constantly.

“CUTTERMARKER” units the most prestigious and most respected kind of street art. The aspiration of this tool is to make art freely and commercially available for all people.
The cutter stands for the well-established stencil art within the scene. Furthermore, the wide marker represents the underground tags and hand styles. Anarchy and rebellion are expressed through the demon wings.

EXINTUBE" is on the one hand newschool vandal and on the other
hand oldschool classic.
Unadjusted, hardcore and extreme - always ready to push the
lever to flood the world with his cascades of color.
His other half, Frabtube, is the exact opposite! Classic,
controlled and decelerated.
The atoms that orbit him stand for his restlessness and for his
search for the next kick. There are always new challenges, new
goals.

"TattooRoller" is a hybrid that combines subcutaneous art and
large-scale mural painting.
Its ink roller represents the craft part of art, because
without it creativity would be missing.
The tattoo machine shows the close connection between the
traditional and the modern, also of the past and the
future.
His crown and jewelry symbolize the danger of succumbing to the
arrogance of success. His skull pendant reminds us of the
transience of all being.
